After the End - from man, monsters, or sun -
Upright, and firm in your morals, he strides
The Waste Photogenic, with good looks and gun.
Flawed and yet decent, he takes the right sides.

Over charred children and unlucky bones
He runs to a lover with more teeth than sores;
Enjoy all the fun as he fights and atones.
Some of those children, those cinders, are yours.
