Oil and Troubled Waters

Those Heathen Chinee, with their slanted sense of humour, have surely gone too far this time. Although the city of Houston is naturally prone to flooding, the unprecedented extent of the damage this year points to the effects of climate change; which, as we all know, is a cunning Oriental hoax aimed at the American economy. It's all very well when a few bunches of Haitians are swept into oblivion; but Houston, damn it, includes facilities owned by the petroleum industry, which will doubtless be self-relying themselves back to normal pretty soon, without hindrance from any freedom-stealing, un-American, big-government interventions. In the meantime, the rainclouds over the city have been lightened with an assertive flash of orange, as the Trumpster has indicated his intention to visit the state of Texas even though no golf courses are thought to be in danger.
